In 2008, Ahad made me a little booklet for Mothers Day. It was very sweet, and I still get emotional when I read it. Each paragraph you read below is actually representing what he wrote on each page. If you can picture in your mind, this booklet he made consisted of different colored construction paper, overflowing with images he had drawn, and tied together with ribbon.
I know you love my paintings in my art room. I'll make as much as u want.
I bet you love the chocolate cake I make you. I will make brownie cake.
I know it's not fair when I pinch punch you on the first of the month. I'll let you win in June.
Someday, I'll make you a painting you love.
I am still afraid of the basement for 3 years. You would be down with me. I'll be with you when your scared of my Masooma.
I know you miss my chocolate chip brownies that I haven't made in years. I'll make some for you in 5 minutes.
More than ever I do for you. I'll make the brownies you miss.
We can go out for lunch. Or we can make lunch at home. Also we can just have a hug.
Don't forget about my book and thing I do ever ever. I'll make brownies sometimes when you want them. I'll clean my room when it's messy. I love you. Happy Mothers Day! I love you
This coupon is good for going to bed
So, just a couple of things. I used to love his brownies...hence the reference to brownies and brownie cake. He had made a chocolate cake for Mothers Day, which he refers to. The pinch punch was a tradition in our house. On the first of the month we would say (and do) pinch punch to whomever we could get without getting pinch punched ourselves. Ahad would always get me before I could get him!
Ahad made a coupon for me to go fo bed....I guess he thought I am always tired since I used to work nightshirt (which was true)!
